Response to UK Net Zero review consultation
GIIA has inputted into Chris Skidmore MP's comprehensive Net Zero review.
In our response to the UK Government's call for evidence regarding the net zero transition, we highlight how investment in sustainable assets can be a catalyst for economic growth.
Throughout our contribution, we stress the need for intergenerational fairness within the net zero transformation, strong cooperation between the private and public sectors around nascent tech, as well as policy clarity and planning reform to spur inward investment.
The recommendations follow our Q4 2022 Pulse survey, which finds respondents ready to commit to the right renewables, clean tech and digital opportunities.
