GIIA contribution to Public Accounts Committee investment report
The PAC has included our recommendations in its latest 'Supporting investment into the UK' report
In our submission to the PAC's investment inquiry we recommend development of an overarching infrastructure vision for the UK akin to those set out in other major economies.
We also stress the need for greater collaboration between the public and private sectors, regulatory reform which reflects the need for net zero investment and a consistent approach from both government departments and the UK Infrastructure Bank.
In its report published off the back of the inquiry, the PAC flags our overarching push for "greater focus in government on setting out route maps for investors against clear timelines, particularly for new technologies."
'Supporting investment into the UK' can be accessed on the Committee's website. Our submission can be downloaded directly from this page.
