Christopher Frost

Christopher was appointed Chair of GIIA in July 2017. He is a senior executive with over 27 years of international experience investing in and managing infrastructure businesses globally. Christopher was a member of the pioneering team at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), leading the development of the specialized infrastructure funds business, and the development of MAM’s Real Assets platform focused on investments in sustainable businesses providing essential services to our communities. Throughout his career at Macquarie based in its Sydney, London and New York offices, Christopher has held a number of senior roles and led a wide range of transformational projects integral to the delivery of MAM’s track record for investors, including the successful investment, management and disposal of many of the MAM funds’ major infrastructure businesses globally.

 

Lawrence Slade

Lawrence Slade joined GIIA as CEO in January 2020, having most recently been Chief Executive of Energy UK since 2015. He has been involved in the energy industry since the late 1990’s working in countries all over the world. Lawrence is a member of the UK Government’s Committee on Fuel Poverty, an Advisory Board member of Connected Kerb, a Board Trustee and Audit Committee member of the Money Advice Trust (who run the National Debtline and Business Debtline), and  is also a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

Jon Phillips

Jon joined GIIA as Director, Corporate Affairs in September 2016 with a brief to develop and implement its communications strategy and to extend its membership base. Between 2005-2016, he was Communications Director for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, a UK government agency established to run the £3 billion a year nuclear clean-up programme. Prior to that, Jon spent 12 years at airport operator BAA Heathrow which included leading on communications for the £4.2 billion T5 project during its planning and construction phases.
