GIIA co-hosted the U.S. Infrastructure Investor Forum this month at Stanford University, in collaboration with the Build America Center (BAC), the Build America Bureau (BAB) and the National Governors Association (NGA).

The event featured speakers from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau (BAB), leaders of regional infrastructure accelerators, state transportation officials, and GIIA members, with 12 states and several local government representatives also in attendance, to learn more about private financing opportunities for infrastructure.

Key discussion points for the day included implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, permitting reform and the growth of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations. Listen to our latest podcast for more.

The meeting concluded with a public forum hosted by the Stanford Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law featuring Christine Harada, Executive Director of the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council.
