GIIA welcomes new Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager
Meet Alex Hagemann, GIIA's new UK policy lead
Originally from North Carolina, Alex is an experienced public policy professional with a background in public affairs and legislative engagement. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Maastricht University, where he developed a deep understanding of policy frameworks.
Before joining GIIA, Alex worked at a consultancy specialising in tax policy, where he advised clients on complex regulatory issues and legislative developments. He has worked extensively with Members of Parliament on a range of legislative initiatives, bringing strategic insight and hands-on experience to policy advocacy.
Alex will be working with the GIIA policy and public affairs team, helping shape the association’s voice across key regulatory and political landscapes.
