Leila joined GIIA in 2026, bringing extensive experience in producing high-profile events and strategizing communications, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development across membership organisations, government, NGOs and the cultural sector. She works closely with members, sponsors and industry partners to deliver impactful events and creative engagement programmes.
Previously, she held senior roles with UNHCR, the British Film Institute and the Greater London Authority. At the BFI, she produced film festivals, premieres and industry events, managing high-profile partnerships and stakeholders.
