Digital Transformation Capital Partners (DTCP) is an independent investment management group focused on digital opportunities across infrastructure and growth equity. Founded in 2015 as a spin-off from Deutsche Telekom, DTCP and its broader platform have invested around €1.6 billion in over 50 digital companies through private equity funds and co-investments.

DTCP’s infrastructure strategy is based on the shift in telecommunications from vertically integrated models to a more fragmented, “horizontalized” structure, creating opportunities across mobile networks, fiber, and data centers. This vision was shaped by founder Vicente Vento’s role in a major telecom tower transaction, which highlighted the growing importance of specialized infrastructure investors.

The firm launched its first fund, Digital Infrastructure Vehicle I (DIV I), in 2017 with Deutsche Telekom as sole investor, focusing on assets like towers and fiber networks. Its successor, DIV II, launched in 2021, raised about €1.6 billion from institutional and corporate investors and expanded this strategy.

The firm is led by an experienced senior team and fully owned by its Partners, with strong capabilities across investment, operations, and support functions.
