Hailing from Wisconsin, USA, Gillian is an experienced writer, journalist and communications professional. Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the London School of Economics respectively. She is skilled at multi-stakeholder communications campaigns, storytelling, and advocacy.
Gillian started her career reporting for a broadcast news station in Madison covering local, state and regional stories— from year-long electoral cycles to major highway projects. She moved to Munich in 2023 where she joined the global communications team for a German healthcare technology firm, working to execute external and internal communications strategy for a B2C audience.
Gillian sits within GIIA’s communications team, producing digital communications and working to grow the presence of the association and broader value of private investment.
